Scrubbies Plastic Free Eco Washing Up Sponges - Home Compostable

These handmade compostable cleaning pads are a great replacement for the plastic-based cleaning pads, sponges and scourers normally found in supermarkets. They will tackle all your usual cleaning jobs thoroughly and gently - pots, pans, sinks, ovens, ceramic cooktops and glass.

Please note: you will receive 1 to 4 pads of different cotton patterns on one side, hessian on the other. If there is a pattern you would particularly like, please put this in the Notes at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate. We are sent different patterns with each delivery so availability is very fluid. We also have more than those pictured and some we will not have at all at the time of ordering. The more options you give, the more likely you are to get one of your preferences but please be aware we may not have any of your choices at the time of posting your order.

• Bamboo Lining (naturally antibacterial - no smell) 
• Hessian backed for excellent scrubbiness 
• 100% Organic Cotton Thread (very important - cheap polyester thread doesn't biodegrade!) 

Size: approx 14cm x 11cm

Care: You can throw these in the wash as often as you need to, up to 40°C. Once they are all scrubbed out, simply chop them up and compost. They will naturally biodegrade.

These are also great for using in the shower/bath (just remember to put them in the washing machine regularly).
